Registering for the Exam
Thompson Prometric is the company the State of Alaska has contracted to proctor the Residential Endorsement Exam.  This is exam is offered approximately 9 times a year in Anchorage, but also in Fairbanks and Juneau. 

Thompson Prometric does require 30 days pre-registration on all of their exams, so it is important to follow the registration deadlines listed on their candidate information bulletin.  What we recommend is that as soon as you know you want to register for an exam you do so by fax with a credit card and then follow up with a phone call to their office in MN to verbally confirm that you are registered for first choice.  Our experience has been that occasionally paperwork has been misplaced which could set your test date to a later date.  Please refer to their candidate information bulletin for more information, and the application for registering for the exam.  The approximate cost of the exam is $75. You can download their application and check dates for the 2008 exams here.
