Journeyman Plumber Test Prep

This 'Test Prep' series of classes is recommended for 4th year apprentices who wish to take their journeyman plumber's exam.  The test prep consists of two days of classes, the dates we have scheduled for this class appear below. 

  • DAY 1- 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code-8 Hours

This program is a two day program, the first day is an 8 hour plumbing code class that reviews plumbing sizing exercise and general code requirements of the 2003 UPC.  This first day can be taken online or in person-call our office for details for the online Day 1 class.  (Note: This class is approved for Mechanical Administrator Continuing Education Plumbing  Credit-if you need plumbing credits this is an easy way to get them!)

Dates: October 11, 2007 - Anchorage

  • DAY 2- Journeyman Plumber Test Prep Course-8 Hours
    The second day walks students through several practice exams preparing them for the journeyman plumbers exam, covering material missed on student exams.  Required Prerequisite -Day 1, 2003 UPC Class

    Dates: October 12, 2007 - Anchorage



Please note that Day 1 is required to be taken prior to the Journeyman Plumber Test Prep Course on Day 2.  If you are unable to make Day 1 or would prefer an alternative method to complete this prerequisite, you can take the following courses below online.  Taking all the classes listed below fulfill the requirements of Day 1.  Past clients have told us they preferr taking the Day 1 classes online because they can go back and review material, and take longer reviewing the sizing exercises.  You also save $50 by taking Day 1 online. The journeyman plumber's exam is offered by the state of Alaska in both Anchorage and Fairbanks, you will need to contact their offices to register for the exam or to ask any questions of the exam, please find their information below.

Please note that your application to register for the Journeyman Plumber exam must be submitted to the Anchorage office at least 2 weeks prior to the date of your examination.  The exam itself is provided and scored by the Mechanical Inspection Section in Anchorage and results will be available 5-7 business days after you take the exam.
