Courses Approved for Mechanical Administrators
Alaska Mechanical Administrators
Mechanical Administrators are required to obtain between 8 and 16 hours or CEUs of continuing education every 2 years. This renewal period is the same for all administrators, beginning September 1, 2007 and ending August 31, 2009.
This means if you have a Mechanical Administrator license you will need to obtain your continuing education prior to August 31, 2009. Your license type will dictate how many hours you need, but also whether you must take plumbing or mechanical credit. Depending on your license type you may need classes that cover the mechanical or the plumbing code, sometimes both. Please contact our office if you have questions about how many credits you will need or you can contact the state of Alaska Division of Occupational Licensing.
