Courses Approved for Home Inspectors

Alaska Home Inspectors
Home Inspectors are required to obtain 16 hours or 16 CEUs of continuing education every 2 years.  This renewal period is the same for all inspectors beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2010. This means you must obtain 16 hours of continuing education between this time period to renew your license when it expires June 30, 2010. You can find a current renewal application here.

Registration is now online, please click on a class you'd like to take and a link will be provided on the class page to register for a class. Upon registration you will be required to create an online account with a username and password. Your username is an e-mail address you are able to check as your class information will be sent to that address. Upon payment of the course you will receive two e-mails. The first e-mail is a confirmation that your payment has been submitted and your name is in the system for review. Upon verifying your qualifications for the class by fulfilling prerequisites, you will receive a second e-mail within 48 hours giving the date, time, location and material list for each class.
