Courses Approved for Residential Contractors

Alaska Residential Endorsement General Contractors
Residential Endorsement General Contractors are required to obtain 16 hours or 16 CEUs of continuing education every 2 years. This renewal period is the same for all contractors, beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2010. This means if you have a Residential Endorsement you will need to obtain your continuing education prior to the end of this year (2010). There are only exceptions to this rule if you obtained your initial Residential Endorsement license during this period, please contact our office if you have questions about how many credits you will need or you can contact the state of Alaska Division of Occupational Licensing.

Registration is now online, please click on a class you'd like to take and a link will be provided on the class page to register for a class. Upon registration you will be required to create an online account with a username and password. Your username is an e-mail address you are able to check as your class information will be sent to that address. Upon payment of the course you will receive two e-mails. The first e-mail is a confirmation that your payment has been submitted and your name is in the system for review. Upon verifying your qualifications for the class by fulfilling prerequisites, you will receive a second e-mail within 48 hours giving the date, time, location and material list for each class.
