ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) Wall Requirements

Course Description: This class covers the requirements of insulated concrete form walls (ICF) from the 2006 International Residential Code, Chapter 6.  The 2006 IRC has added pages of new material covering the requirements of ICF walls, their reinforcement, how to construct oepnings and other considerations when building an ICF wall above grade.  ICF wall types covered are flat, screen grid and waffle grid.  This class does not cover the code requirements of ICF walls built below grade.
